ElmTine-PForte SR CAPSULE (Wych Elm Laboratories Limited) with a composition of Pregabalin 75mg + Duloxetine 30 mg SR Capsule.

Elmtine P Forte 75mg/30mg Tablet is used for the treatment of neuropathic pain. It decreases pain by controlling calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. It also increases the level of chemical messengers in the brain that helps maintain mental balance and stop the movement of pain signals in the brain.

Elmtine P Forte 75mg/30mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor as this is habit forming medicine. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of the treatment even if you feel better. It is important not to stop taking this medicine suddenly as it may worsen your symptoms.

Some common side effects of this medicine include peripheral edema, nausea, headache, dryness of mouth, difficulty in concentration and blurred vision. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Liver

Elmtine P Forte 75mg/30mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Elmtine P Forte 75mg/30mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

• Elmtine P Forte 75mg/30mg Tablet is used for treating nerve pain caused by diabetes, shingles, fibromyalgia, and spinal cord injuries.
• You may have to wait for 2 to 4 weeks before it starts working.
• It may cause dizziness during the first few weeks. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how Elmtine P Forte 75mg/30mg Tablet affects you.
• Avoid consuming alcohol when taking this medicine as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage.
• Monitor your blood pressure regularly, especially during the first month of treatment.
• It may cause a sensation of restlessness or an inability to sit or stand still, especially when you first start taking it. Inform your doctor if this happens to you.
• Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behaviour, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behaviour.
• Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor.

A: In people with depression and anxiety, Elmtine 30mg Tablet mostly starts working within two weeks of treatment. However, you may take 2-4 weeks to feel better. Consult your doctor if you do not see any improvement after this time. In people with diabetic neuropathic pain, you may take a few weeks to feel better. Consult your doctor if you do not feel better after 2 months.

Q:If I start feeling better, can I stop taking Elmtine 30mg Tablet?

A: No, you should not stop Elmtine P Forte Tablet suddenly and without consulting your doctor. In cases of depression and anxiety, if you have been feeling better for 6 months or more, your doctor may reduce your doses gradually. In case of pain and incontinence, if you are feeling better, continue taking it for the long term. Your doctor will keep monitoring your response to the medicine every few months.

Q:Is Elmtine P Forte Tablet highly addictive?

A: No, Elmtine P Forte Tablet is not habit-forming (addictive). This means that it does not make you physically or psychologically dependent on it.

Q:What will be the consequences if I stop taking Elmtine P Forte Tablet suddenly?

A: If you stop Elmtine P Forte Tablet suddenly, you may feel dizzy, tired, agitated or restless, anxious and irritated.
